BACKGROUND in metal engineering, commenced business as 17Squared in 1996, 16 years in interior and art design-constuction, usually employing 1-3 other craftsman on a vast range of projects.

Experienced in working with private clients, architects, artists and institutions to budget. Creative technician for 'floating land' - 2001-2005.
Teaching experience includes workshops at primary and high schools, university and community.
Digital skills in mac and PC environments.
Digital design abilities including graphic, typography and 3D modelling-animation.

I have completed a Bachelor of Arts - Computer-Based Design and a Graduate Diploma in Education, both at the University of the Sunshine Coast - USC, including subjects in planning and urban design.
This degree represents the digitisation of my current design skills while turning new learning experiences into qualifications. As a [self employed] designer in Australia commissions are diverse, including projects such as the design-construction of transform, a moveable playground - which followed a series of workshops within the special ed. units of 2 public schools; collaborating with publicgreen to produce the ‘Art, Design and Placemaking Report’ for the local council; design-construct the interior for a meeting room in a clients office. Currently I have just been accepted into a Graduate Diploma in Education [USC] which will give me formal qualifications for teaching in high school.
